Shooter's Valley is located on the Weber Farm. This family farm has been owned and operated by the Weber's for the past 80 years. We are located near Draper, South Dakota, 40 miles southwest of Pierre, South Dakota. The farm has always been managed and maintained for optimum bird habitat and hunting ease.

During a typical hunt, you will be exposed to incredible habitat that offers plenty of birds for your shooting enjoyment. At Shooter's Valley we offer the best of both worlds for hunting, on and off the preserve. The hunting ground consists of thousands of acres of private land. Habitat consisting of shelter belts, tree strips, milo, cane, corn and sunflowers strips, grassland, river bottoms, stock dams and plentiful food plots, all of which are farmed for the birds. This has truly proved to be a hunter's paradise, with some of the most prime pheasant country in the state.

Shooter's Valley will custom design affordable hunts for both small and large groups, corporate or individual retreats, or social gatherings , we will accommodate them all. We take pride in designing a hunt to meet the needs of the hunter and make your hunt as enjoyable as can be. We want this to be a " Hunt of a Lifetime". Professional guides and hunting dogs will always be available for the hunter's convenience. We believe that the "Dog" is man's best friend and our hunter's are welcome to bring their own , with handling left to the discretion of the owner. Indoor dog kennels are also provided. We have a great group of guides with many years of experience that will show you a 1st class hunt. They provide outstanding personal service and are committed to providing you with a memorable hunting experience.

Hunting is conducted by traditional field drives. During the hunt, you will find an abundance of Pheasants, Sharp Tail Grouse and Prairie Chickens along with other species of wildlife in plentiful supply. If you still have not had enough after a successful day in the field, why not try your skill at some of the other packages available. for deer, turkey and varmints.

If nightlife is what you want, we have several casinos within an hour drive just waiting for you to try your luck. Maybe, you would just like to sit back and rest those tired bones in front of the fireplace or lay back in the hot tub and shoot the breeze. We also have a variety of different games for your enjoyment , just pick your pleasure!

At Shooter's Valley our season begins September 1st through March 31st each year. You will be able to experience some of the best upland hunting around without the added pressure of other hunters. The birds are numerous and the atmosphere is relaxed. Consider us your home away from home.

South Dakota weather is very unpredictable. The weather varies from day to day being hot, cold, dry raining, snowing or windy. Plan on bringing suitable hunting apparel for all weather conditions.

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your space and hunting dates at Shooter's Valley. Please reserve early to ensure that you receive the dates you prefer.
